Cindy Crane is a Children’s Etiquette and Social Skills Educator who teaches timeless manners, confidence, kindness, and social skills to children while helping adults feel polished, poised, and comfortable in any setting.

Raised in a gracious Southern home, Cindy learned early that etiquette is not about formality—it is about making others feel valued, respected, and welcome. When grandchildren began joyfully entering her life eight years ago, her passion naturally turned toward the needs of today’s children.

Cindy earned a Bachelor of Arts in Education from Presbyterian College. In 2023, she completed formal etiquette training and received her certification from the prestigious Charleston School of Protocol and Etiquette in Charleston, South Carolina.

Drawing on her education and diverse professional experience, Cindy creates engaging classes, workshops, teas, and interactive programs that teach far more than table manners. Her goal is to equip children and adults with confidence, kindness, respect, and social skills that will serve them throughout their lives.

Her professional background includes serving as Director of Summer Children’s Programs at Palmetto Dunes in Hilton Head, South Carolina; Substitute Teacher for Fulton County Schools in Atlanta; owner of a real estate tour bus and retail home décor store; and Associate Broker with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Georgia Properties.

An Atlanta native, Cindy and her husband, Les, spent 14 wonderful years in Jefferson, Georgia, before settling in Blue Ridge in the beautiful North Georgia mountains. She treasures her grown children, eight cherished grandchildren, and several beloved rescue pets.

Community service has always been important to Cindy and Les. In Jefferson, Cindy was involved with the Jefferson Woman’s Club, Tumbling Waters Historical Society, Crawford W. Long Museum, American Legion Auxiliary, Main Street Jefferson, Dirt Road Doggies Rescue, and Jackson County Young Life. Today, they are members of the Fannin County Chamber of Commerce, volunteer with Fannin County Family Connection, and continue seeking additional ways to serve their new community.

Good Graciousness was inspired by—and is lovingly dedicated to—Cindy’s mother, Patsy Ray Lawson, and grandmother, Helen Fitch Ray. Their examples of kindness, manners, elegance, grace, and genuine hospitality continue to inspire every class she teaches.
